La Maison des Jeunes et de la Culture est à la disposition des jeunes de 12 à 26 ans qui résident dans la commune. Elle propose différentes activités : ateliers hebdomadaires artistiques et sportifs, sorties, soirées à thème. La Maison participe au festival LiteraTour en organisant un spectacle de lectures théâtralisées et un café littéraire. Elle organise également le Rallytéra Tour.
Sport à Bettembourg
La ville dispose d’un centre de natation « an der Schwemm » qui compte trois bassins, un toboggan, quatre saunas, un hammam et un espace solarium.
Les résidents ont également à leur disposition les cours sportifs des deux communes : Bettembourg et Leudelange. Au programme : marche nordique, cardio boxing, cardio trampoline, piloxing (mix de boxe et pilates), zumba, soft gym et self défense entre autres.
Transport à Bettembourg
Forte de son positionnement géographique, la ville est traversée par un grand réseau routier et dispose d’une gare ferroviaire avec des connexions dans tout le Luxembourg ainsi que vers les pays frontaliers.
Ecologie
Bettembourg se veut une ville tournée vers la préservation de l’environnement. Elle compte le plus grand verger du pays appelé « Altenhoven ». Elle accueille des cigognes depuis deux ans dans l’une de ses zones dites humides.
La commune s’investit également dans le programme Biodiversité pour la protection de la faune et de la flore. Elle a ainsi renoncé à l’utilisation de produits chimiques afin de protéger la diversité des espèces. Le label « Heck vun hei » fait partie du programme et garantit la préservation de la flore.
De plus, la ville propose des jardins communautaires pour le plaisir des amoureux de jardinage.
La ville s’inscrit dans le programme Pacte Climat qui s’inspire de l’European Energy Award. Il s’agit d’un système de gestion qualité et de certification dans les domaines de la politique énergétique et de la protection du climat qui permet d’évaluer et de récompenser l’implication des communes.
